Ginetta Cars is a Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire based British pro manufacturer of racing and sports autos.Ginetta was established in 1958 by the four Walklett siblings (Bob, Ivor, Trevers and Douglas) in Woodbridge, Suffolk. The main auto, not bound for preparation, which therefore got known as the Ginetta G1, was focused around a prewar Wolseley Hornet.

Ginetta history
Ginetta Cars is a Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire based British pro manufacturer of racing and sports autos.Ginetta was established in 1958 by the four Walklett siblings (Bob, Ivor, Trevers and Douglas) in Woodbridge, Suffolk. The main auto, not bound for preparation, which therefore got known as the Ginetta G1, was focused around a prewar Wolseley Hornet.
From their unique base, the organization moved to Witham, Essex in 1962, and between 1972 and 1974 worked from bigger premises in Sudbury, Suffolk before coming back to Witham where they stayed until 1989. Under the Walkletts, Trevers was chiefly answerable for styling, Ivor for building, Douglas, administration and Bob deals.
Emulating the retirement of the Walkletts in 1989 the organization was sold however fizzled, and was then purchased by a global gathering of devotees, situated in Sheffield, and run by overseeing executive Martin Phaff transforming the G20 and G33.
