Fantic Motor was founded in 1968 in Barzago, a small town near Milan, Italy, by Mario Agrati and Henry Keppel-Hesselink. The company initially specialized in the production and exportation of enduro motorcycles, mini-bikes, and go-karts. The first Fantic enduro bike, the 50 Caballero, was released in 1973 and quickly gained popularity among off-road enthusiasts.

In the following years, Fantic continued to develop and refine their motorcycles, introducing new models such as the 125 RC, the 125 TX, and the 200 Professional. By the late 1970s, Fantic had established a reputation for producing high-quality, reliable bikes that were designed to perform well in a variety of off-road conditions.

Today, Fantic continues to produce high-performance motorcycles that are designed for both off-road and on-road use. In 2016, Fantic returned to the US market with Fantic USA Inc. and has since expanded their product line to include electric bikes, including the innovative Fat Bike.
