Pagani Automobili S.p.A. (commonly referred to as Pagani) is an Italian manufacturer of sports cars and carbon fibre components. The company was founded in 1992 by Horacio Pagani and is based in San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, Italy. Horacio Pagani, who in the past dealt with Lamborghini‘s composites, established Pagani Composite Research in 1988. This new organization worked with Lamborghini on various ventures, including the restyling of the 25th Anniversary Countach, the Lamborghini Lm002, the P140 outline idea, and the Diablo. In the late 1980s, Pagani started planning his auto, then alluded to as the “C8 Project”. Pagani wanted to rename the C8 the “Fangio F1” to respect his companion, the five-time Argentinian Formula One champion Juan Manuel Fangio.
In 1991 Pagani created Modena Design to take care of the expanding demand for his outline, designing, and prototyping administrations. In 1992, he started development of a Fangio F1 model, and by 1993, the auto was being tried at the Dallara wind tunnel with positive effects. In 1994, Mercedes-Benz consented to supply Pagani with V12 motors. The expense of these autos are at what added up to 2.3 million dollars.
The last auto was named the Zonda C12; the Fangio F1 name was dropped keeping in mind Fangio, who kicked the bucket in 1995. It was initially displayed at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show.
In 2005, Pagani affirmed that it wanted to triple its creation yield inside the following three years, and to enter the US advertise in 2007.
On 26 July 2010, Pagani guaranteed another record for handling based autos utilizing the Pagani Zonda R and finishing the Nürburgring in 6:47, beating the Ferrari 599xx.
