DAF Trucks is a Dutch truck manufacturing company and a division of Paccar. Its headquarters and main plant are in Eindhoven. Cabs and axle assemblies are produced at its Westerlo plant in Belgium. Some of the truck models sold with the DAF brand are designed and built by Leyland Trucks at its Leyland plant in England.

Daf Trucks Nv is a Dutch truck assembling organization and a division of Paccar, (Pacific Car and Foundry Company). Its home office and primary plant are in Eindhoven. Taxicabs and pivot congregations are prepared at its Westerlo plant in Belgium. A percentage of the truck demonstrates sold with the Daf brand are outlined and assembled via Leyland Trucks at their Farington plant in Preston, England. The plant additionally generates Foden and Leyland badged vehicles. Because of its business disagreeability, just military vehicles convey the, once pleased, Leyland badging.
In 1967 Daf opened another plant in Born for auto generation. The 44 was the first model to be prepared there.
In 1972, International Harvester of Chicago, I purchased a 33% stake in Daf (with the Dutch government holding 25% and the Van Doorne family holding the remaining 42%), shaping a joint-wander. This assention endured until 1981.
Daf sold its traveler auto division, in addition to what is currently the Nedcar production line in Born, in 1975 to the Swedish organization Volvo Cars, leaving Daf to focus on its fruitful line of lorrys.
In 1987 Daf fused with the Leyland Trucks division of Rover Group, and was drifted on the Dutch stock trade as Daf Nv. The new organization exchanged as Leyland Daf in the Uk, and as Daf somewhere else.
